Default ****Out of The Box Animation FX****

I’m creating a video about a product and I have some questions on how to do what seems to be simple animations/effects within PowerPoint 2010…

Here’s an outline of the effects I’d like to learn how to do:
1) Bounce/Recoil animation effects
2) Create a Floating/Hovering Motion for objects and text
3) Create Perpetual Motion animation effects at different speeds
4) Some different Exit Animation effects
5) Moving objects such as an arrow up and down continuously
Even if you only know how to produce one of these effects, I would really appreciate just one tip.

Ok here we go…I’ll get into a little more detail concerning what I’m talking about along with video’s/screenshots as examples…

Bounce/Recoil Animation Effects

How do you get text and object elements to have a little bounce at the end when they fly in.

Take this Yahoo “Who Knew” video on Earth Day for example - (it should play automatically to Earth Day video) =

(@ the :02 to :04 second mark – the text fly’s in and bounces/recoils into final position)

How do you create this with PowerPoint 2010? I've tried the "fly in" animation with the bounce but it doesn't seem to replicate what’s in the video. I also tried a motion path fly in with bounce but no dice...

----------

I'd also like to create a similar bounce effect for objects or text that zoom out.

If you check the same Yahoo "Who Knew" video out - this is the zoom animation bounce I'm referring to...

(at the :43 - :44 second mark the words Cuyahoga River pop out with the animation effect I'm talking about...)

Other Animation Effects

At the :58 second mark in the same “Who Knew” Earth Day video – the text has a “swinging hinge” effect. Is that doable in PowerPoint??

Bounce/Recoil Animation Effects – little different

I’d like to create another type of recoil/bounce animation effect similar to or the same as the one in the video below. The video doesn’t have a timeline but the animation I’m talking about is approx. a quarter of the way thru and the scene I’m referring to is the screenshot below.

The lightbulbs have a bouncy/recoil effect but it’s more continual motion compared with the previous effects mentioned - until coming to a stop.

Perpetual Motion – speed, slow, speed

In the video below, I’d like to create the effect on the right of the screen at the 7:21 minute mark = where objects fly in – move slowly in center – and then fly out……….what’s the best way to do this??

Floating/Hovering Motion

In the same video, the little help bubbles float up and down around the 8:37 mark – what’s the best way to recreate?

Hovering/Moving Motion

In a different video, the arrow moves up and down at the 30:29 mark. What’s the best way to create this – but make it a little smoother?

Exit Animation

In this video, at around the 1:27 mark, the guy with goggles and the foreground object in front of him – both have an exit effect whereby objects raise vertically slightly – then fly out.

How do you do this?

I’d like to also create a similar effect but instead of raising vertically and flying out – I’d like to make the image grow bigger/zoom towards the camera quick then – zoom out into the distance…

-----------------------

I know it’s a lot to ask in terms of how many effects I outlined but even if you only want to answer or know how to produce the animation in just one of the effects I’ve referred to – I’d be very grateful for your help.

Also if these effects are doable in PowerPoint, they’re probably pretty simple and therefore, quick to explain…I just haven’t found the methods yet…

So if you could take a couple minutes out to let me know how you create any of these effects – that would be great!

I’m extremely appreciate of any help you could give.

I'm currently in the process of creating the video I referred to at the beginning of which I’d like to include these animations. I need to get it done within a couple days so the sooner you can drop the "insider info", the better...!

Thanks so much!
