Please help. I take images from visio and excel, copy, then paste as pic in OneNote then copy images from OneNote to Powerpoint (for quality purposes - my boss uses this method and works fine for him). They look fine in print prieview and to view slides. When I try to print on a color laserjet (hp 5500) the images print the background of the image black and are unreadable. When I print on the B&W printer they are fine. Here's what I do know.
-it's not the printer drivers
-it's not the format of the background or fill
-it's not the slide master (bg set to auto)
-saving as older version of PPnt didn't work
-I can print slides fine if I change print settings to - send as raster
-I can print slides fine if I save as picture presentation but this is worthless if slides need edited or links!
I have hundreds of slides to do like this and I cant expect the audience to adjust printer settings.

SOLUTION:


Office 2010. When you right click in excel you have a paste special option but not in PowerPoint. The jpeg image is too dense for ppt, so you use the paste special TAB on the upper left and paste as .png and voila~problem solved
