Default Microsoft Power Point 2004 to Office Power Point 2007

A client sent me a .pptx using the Windows version of Power Point 2007 and I have a Mac using Power Point 2004. How can I ensure that what I send back to him is going to look how I intend it to when he opens it in his version? I'm not sure that what he sent me is what it even looks like on his computer.

Is there a way to create the equivalent of a PDF in Power Point so that nothing changes cross platform or from version to version of Power Point?
