Prevention of do you trust message with hyperlinks?
Hello, all:
Another question from a newbie learning to use Powerpoint 2007. I have successfully learned how to hyperlink slide content (action buttons and images) to other external content (urls, other files on my computer). However, when I try to play the presentation and click on the hyperlinked image or action button, the following message comes up: "Some hyperlinks may contain viruses or otherwise be harmful to your computer. It is important to be certain that this hyperlink is from a trustworthy source. Do you want to open this hyperlink?" Obviously, this is not a message that you would want your audience to see if you are presenting. You would want to go directly to the linked content. I have tried to resolve this by adding the appropriate content to trusted sites using the following path: Office Button/Powerpoint Options/Trust Center/Trust Center Settings/Trusted Locations/ However, this does not prevent the message from appearing. Advice would be appreciated. Thank you, Jan |
