Default Using hyperlinks to create interactive menus

Hi,

I'm new to this forum and didn't find anything on this topic using Search so I hope this post is new!

I've been creating an interactive PowerPoint presentation that has a menu system on the slide to enable the presenter to jump back and forth between non-adjacent slides instead of being limited to the sequential nature of PowerPoint.

The trouble is that deleting, adding or moving a slide messes up my navigation and it's very time consuming to manage all of the links to make it work.

Does anyone know of a better way to do this?

Thanks.
