Default Cutom graph styles

Hi

I am creating a template for a friend to use. i use Macs but they want it on a PC. the PC I use runs PowerPoint 2007. I have a question about custom charts.

I know how to create custom graph styles to include correct typeface, colours, line weights, etc. But I sent her a file with just one graph. When she changed the stacked graph to a pie chart it came out in one colour. Then I thought I'd have to create a new style for each chart type she may use. This will take quite a long time as there are so many different types and options to change. is there any way around this so i can edit one file and when you convert it to a different chart type it keeps all the correct colours, formatting etc? Any ideas?

Somebody else asked is it possible to edit the actual PowerPoint default templates for charts so she doesn't have to select the chart styles from the custom template section? i.e. she could select any chart style from the categories and it would automatically be in the correct colours, line weights, font, etc? is this possible or would I have to edit invisible files etc and know a bit of programming to do so?

Hopefully the above makes sense. thanks in advance for your help.s

I would not expect the data that is appropriate for a stacked chart to be also appropriate for a pie chart.

How many rows in the source data? How many columns in the source data?
