Powerpoint 2011 Styles
Is there any way I can set a character style in Powerpoint 2011? In Word 2011 I can set the style tabs in the ribbon to contain styles I use frequently, have defined myself, and I can delete styles I do not want. I cannot see how to do that in Powerpoint 2011, in fact I cannot find out how to set a personal character, or text, style at all, seems I must just set the font, color and size every time.
Any ideas? Thanks - Lawrence |

Maybe you can post your question on Microsoft forum. A lot of PowerPoint experts there.

Check out the Slide master. In version 2010, it's view > Slide master

Thanks guys. I was hoping for a way to obtain a quick means of applying a totally different style to bits of a slide, to differentiate them from the norm. So whereas I could base the entire presentation on the master slide, I could quickly change a word, sentence or phrase to something quite different.

Styles in PowerPoint
Hi there
The most useful way for apply styles to both objects and text is by using the 'Pick Up Object Style' and 'Apply Object Style' eyedropper tool. You will find these by customising a toolbar and selecting from the Format tools. Hope that helps. |
