I dig music with Powerpoint presentations but ......
but I need a little help. I have had Powerpoint availble for years but wondered ... what's that all about. Recently I have become enthralled with the creativity you can have with photos and especially with music. It adds so much. I have been able to sucessfully INSERT a wav sound file and it plays great on my machine. Much to my dismay when I send it to someone they can't hear the music. I have several questions.
1) Is the music embedded in the pps file or does the wav file have to be present separately and then the pps file finds it on your hard drive. Is this why my friends cannot hear the music but see only the visuals? 2) When I am tweaking the ppt file I go crazy going back to the first slide where the music starts, and having to start if over so many times to get the timing right on the slide way down the list. Is there any way to start from any slide and have the music pick up right at that spot. For instance, I have the words flowing on the photos, so if I start it in the middle of the lyrics of a certain slide, can the music start where it ought to be at that point? Clear as mud? I would be very greatful to know why my friends do not hear the music and how to take care of the 2nd question. |

RESOLVED! by jackdashack
Here is the answer. It's just a setting. Not a hard fix at all.
