Saving Embedded Videos to a PowerPoint
Hey guys, new poster here. Quick question on a problem that I am having.
I am making a powerpoint for my boss that he will play on his screen while recording a video as a training tool. Within the video he will discuss teaching points, hands, ranges, terms, etc. Now to the problem...I am looking to include 4-5 videos per powerpoint presentation. I am creating the videos using a camtasia-esque software to record videos, saving them as AVIs, inserting the videos into the correct slides on the powerpoint, and then saving the powerpoint. However, when I send him (and others) the powerpoint with the videos embedded, the videos are not playable for them. Do you have any idea why when I save a powerpoint that it does not automatically save the videos within it as well? Do you have any recommendations that I can do to make the powerpoint with videos playable for him? Is there a file sharing website or something that might work better? I know there has to be an easier way than me sending him hundreds of videos and him manually inserting them himself, or me recording the powerpoint and sending it to him. The videos work fine on my side :/ I am using Office H&S 2010 and windows 7 if that matters. Any help would be greatly appreciated! RYAN |

Video in 2010 is normally embedded BUT it will only play if your boss has 2010 or 2007 SP2
