Default Microsoft Powerpoint question

Hi is there anyway I can change the color of text boxes or just certain color aspects in general in a preset outline made in microsoft powerpoint? Like while i’m editing a slide and click design and it makes different design choices for me but i’m not fond of some of the colors they use even tho I like the design.

To change the colours in a design, go to the "View" ribbon and go to "Slide master". There you can change the theme colours, fonts, etc. as you like. This will change the colours in all the slides using this theme.
