URGENT Need an ongoing countdown timer through the whole presentation
I can't use presentation view to see where I am at for time because I have a lot of hyperlinks and if I am in presenter view, they only open in presenter mode. Plus, I walk around and don't sit at a computer.
But I do need to know how much time is left at any given moment. I have found lots of useful tutorials on adding a timer to just a single slide, which I have used for my "your turn" slides. I used shapes and animation to create a 15-minute timer. What I can't find despite googling forever is how to have a countdown timer run throughout the whole presentation that is visible on audience view on EVERY SLIDE (or just a bar shown at the top or something), so I can look at slide at any time and know. I am willing to pay for this? Help please!! I present tomorrow, and I haven't yet found as olution. |

Way too late for your presentation, but for future occasions you might try this?
(2 files attached) timer_01.pptx ---------------- - clock icon + number, counting down per slide - slides advance automatically >> for this test I used 1.5 sec, but in reality you would use 60 sec per slide - File >> Export >> Create a video >> timer_01.mpg (cannot attach file here) timer_02.pptx ---------------- - Insert Video >> timer_01.mpg - Select video >> Playback >> Automatically - in Animation Pane: double click Play animation >> Timing >> Stop playing >> After: 999 slides |
