grasshopper_nz is on a distinguished road
Default Decrease size of the menu icons in tablet mode.

Background
I use a Surface Pro device to make presentations. I flip the keyboard backwards so that the keyboard is out of the way when presenting and I believe this engages the tablet mode in Surface. I then use the Surface pen to doodle on the screen as I speak.

I do not use presenter view because I need to quickly access different coloured pens as I speak to doodle (as in the screen-shot). During this mode, each coloured pen is directly accessible whereas If I go with presenter-view, accessing each coloured pen is a two-step process, which is quite long during a presentation.

Question

How do I reduce the screen-real estate taken up by the large icons (everything within the purple birectional arrow) please? If I unpin the menu, then the coloured pens disappear which defeats the purpose.

Thank you very much in advance.
