Pasting an image from another PPT file shrinks some text on the page to a smaller size. Why?

Hi all

Thanks in advance for any help that can be provided. Basically, when I copy a PNG image from one PPT file to another, some existing text in a text box on the slide I'm pasting the image to shrinks from 20 point to 6 point.

Does anyone know what is causing this to happen? Such an odd behaviour.
