PowerPoint Narration Static
I'm putting together a prototype power point presentation in PPT 2007, and everytime I use powerpoint's recording options either:
A) Slide Show > Record Narration or B) Insert > Sound > Record Sound The sound is terrible, it's very staticy. When recording narration I get a an error telling me powerpoint isn't receiving any audio from my microphone, but it does record. Recording via the Inser > Sound method doesn't reaise this error but the fina lresult sounds identical. Increasing the audio file size cap helps improve the quality of my voice somewhat, but there is a very noticable and persistent crackle/static behind my voice. My work computer has a SoundMAX audio card, and I'm recording with a pretty hich quality USB headset & mic. Conversely, when I record in any other program and insert the audio file into powerpoint it sounds loud and clear. Any thoughts? |
