is there a way to copy and paste one table to the other and have it placed into the table. It seems I have to do it one line at a time.

Are you referring to nested tables? (pasting a whole table into the cell of another larger table)

Or do you mean simply pasting a table from one slide to another?

Hi. I am pasting info from one table into another table. I think I found out what the problem was. One of the table the height of the cells were set to large so I could shrink the table after the text was pasted into it. thanks for helping.
