I am building a looping powerpoint that will be displayed on monitors throughout the facility.



PROBLEM: I want powerpoint to automatically count how many days have passed since a particular event. Although it will be taken down each day (M-F) for other updates, I do not want to have to fuss with this portion, and prefer it to update itself even while running on the weekend.

The closest I have come is to embed an excel sheet with the calculations, but for this, you still have to doubleclick in to it, then back out for the update to occur. If there is VBA to perform the action, I'll take it, but keep in mind, I will need a bit of instruction for that.
