Howto avoid that the complete path is specified when a .pptx is called in through an action field?
I have prepared my photo archives in form of a series of pptx files ordered by year. Through an action field I open the file of another year without going back to the shell or the explorer. This works pretty well in a slide show with friends. Now scince the exact path, specific to my PC only, is included in the action command, the bundle of ppt's will not work properly if transferred to a different computer. I would prefer that the main presentation running would look for the new file just within the same directory it is running in.

Try starting with all the files in a single folder. Remake the links using insert link (not Action)
If you move all files to a new folder and delete the originals the links should still work. |
