Default How do I change the way a bent-connector connects to a freeform shape.

Use VBA, I made a freeform rectangle with many anchor points. This way I could have many different connectors and not at the same spots.

However, when using a bent-connector, it will only attach going right to left (see below). I would like the bent connector to attach from the direction perpendicular to the side, like a normal rectangle.

How do I change the direction the connect will attach at? I have tried modifying the xml code <a:cxn ang="0"> where it lists the points to other angles but that didn't work.

<a:cxnang = "0"> where it lists the points
