Square image to a circle

I have a square image that I want to use to fill a circle.

I can create the circle but when I insert the image it is smaller than
the circle and it is still square.

How do I make the square image fill the circle?

Provided that I understood you correctly, you seem to find a way to make a picture / image shaped like a circle.

To do that insert the image, go under Picture Tools and Format tab and choose from Picture Styles the circle shaped figure.
