Transition timing not accurate on a slide show is not accurate after slide one
I am using Power Point 2019 to produce a Slide Show with a hymn embedded for transmission on a ZOOM Church Service.
I accurately time each verse of the hymn (using the stop watch on my mobile phone) and use a separate slide for each verse with the lyrics on the slide. The music is added to play in the background from slide one and the timings are set using the Transition tab for each slide. When I play back, the first slide, which contains the title and is perhaps up for 10 seconds during the hymn introduction it changes to the second slide (first verse) at the correct time. My problem occurs after that. If the first verse is 48 seconds and I set the transition for this time, when I run the slide show, the second slide can stay on for as much as 54 seconds before changing to the third slide, which then changes all the subsequent transitions. Also, subsequent re-running of the slide show can give me differing times on the second slide, it is often not consistent. Strangely, if I attach the Power Point presentation to an email and send it to a friend to run on his PC, the timings are perfect and all the slides change at the correct time. Has anybody any idea as to what my problem is? |
