Default embed media player classic

Hi folks,

I have windows media player embedded in my presentation and at the end of my clip, it goes to a black screen rather than the final frame. On a friends computer, which i think has an older version of windows media player, once the video has finished, it stays on the final frame. I want to embed windows media player classic into powerpoint but I am struggling a bit.

I downloaded media player classic and its an .exe. When i go to the developer tab and try to insert a control its gives the option to "register custom" but when i navigate to where the .exe file is for media player classic it can't see it. It seems to only look for .dll and .ocx

Can anyone help me embed windows media player classic into powerpoint 2007?

Thanks

Jonny
