Default Powerpoint Buttons/Triggers

I have put together a presentation that tracks sea lion movement up and down a river. I have each animal represented by a circle/triangle that follows custom animation paths that are timed to mimic 3 months scaled down. Right now, I have a button/trigger that corresponds to each animal (11 total) and the calendar.

My question: Is there a way to make one button/trigger start all of the animations at the same time? I've experimented with it and all I can get is starting after previous, but I want them to all animate at the same time, and start with previous, but that means it will start with the last animation of the previous animal.

Any help is welcome. Thanks!

Hi,

There's an option in custom animation called "with previous". If you choose this option for the following 10 then you can animate all at once. This option apperas in "Start" when you choose the animation in Ppt 2007.

Yes but when I start WITH previous, It starts it with the previous animation, which happens to be the last step of the previous object. If that makes sense.

So if I have:
Animal 1:
a -> b (start on click)
b -> c (start after previous)
c -> d (Start after previous)

Animal 2:
a -> c (start with previous)
c -> b (start after previous)
etc.

Then the Animal 2 will start with the c ->d animation from Animal 1.

I haven't figured out if you can group them together.
