Cool using api in Powerpoint

I'm interested in determining the mouse position within a shape using PowerPoint 2010 and vba. Is there an api that can be called in vba that returns the mouse positions within a specified shape? If so, how do I call it.

Specifically, what would be the declaration on it, the command to call it and how to determine the required parameters, such as the handle on the shape.

If their isn't an api for this, is there another way to return the mouse position as it glides over the shape?

Thanks.

Jerry
