Swap Presenter View not working.
On our church laptop, someone changed PowerPoint settings so that what shows on the computer screen is what shows on the overhead projector. We used to be able to have PP slides only show on the projector, while Presenter View was displayed on the computer. I followed the recommended procedure to re-establish this state, but when I got to "Swap Presenter View", the options (2) were 'greyed-out' and wouldn't work. As I do not frequently use PP, I am at a loss as to how to regain the facility we once had.

Presenter View
There are two areas where you can set Presenter view; Slide view on the menu and while you are in the slide show on the tools and look for the ellipse ... Depending on your version of PowerPoint it could be on another icon. I am using PPT 365 - 2019.

Thank you for your comments, GVaught. I had similar advice from the Microsoft Office Support chat line. Happily, when we opened up the computer this morning, someone had restored the PowerPoint setup to its former state … i.e. able to view the Presenter View while projecting only the relevant slide. I still don't know what happened but am happy it's working.
