Default Way to identify what image format has been inserted in PPT?

Is there a way to identify what image format has been inserted into your ppt presentation? For instance, I have to identify and remove all PNGs from my presentation, but they are scattered in amongst GIF and JPG images.

I had the same question. I have a lot of images in PPT and don't know how to manage them by formats.
