Default Moving vidoes while playing

Is there a way to make several videos play simultaneously and move across the screen in powerpoint 2016?

What I am trying to accomplish is: I am making a video presentation story for my wife for Christmas. I wanted to get clever and make an opening just like the opening to the old tv show Dallas. For those of you that don't know the show because it is decades old here is a link of the Dallas opening.

thanks all!!

You could add a slow Line animation (for the Dallas effect: from left to right) to your video and set it to animate 'with previous'.

Or a slow Fly Out To Right animation.

Or a slow Fly In From Left animation, but in that case you should put the video in its end position, e.g. off screen on the right side.

I was thinking of that, however every time i add an animation the videos wont play. If i go to switch the video to play with previous it gets rid of the other animation.

Its as if it is considering the play function as an animation and i can only have 1 anumation.

Are you sure you are adding the animation with the 'Add Animation' button, and not using to the icons on the left of your animation toolbar?
When you use the icons on the left, you are replacing the animation instead of adding one.

oh wow .... didnt know about using the add animation button to use multiple animations. Thanks.

One more question .... instead of having to do motion lines for each video .... can i attach a bunch of videos to move together along one line? right now it appears i have to do manual lines for each video.

Have you tried grouping the videos? Not sure they play when grouped but worth the try?

Also, should grouping not work: you can use the Animation Painter to copy an animation from one object to an other.
