Default Using bookmarks in PowerPoint screen recordings

Hi all

I am trying to use bookmarks, to animate Objects while a screen recording runs in PowerPoint 2016. EG, send a new email. Before the cursor moves to the New button, I want to highlight it, then that highlight fade but, cannot get that to work.
I am adding a shape, red border, adding the fade animation, using bookmarks to trigger them but, nothing, the object doesn't even appear while the video runs.

Anyone achieved this?

Cheers
Brian

When selecting the video file on your slide and going to the Playback tab: is the Play Full Screen box checked? I think in order to make triggers work, it should be unchecked.
If you want the video to play fullscreen you can always adjust the size manually, without checking the Play Full Screen box.

Thumbs up Thank you

Hi Judith, that has worked, thank you VERY much, I've only tested one object but, hopefully, I can add many, throughout the playback

Just for the record bookmark triggers DO work in full screen mode BUT the animation will happen behind the video so not a lot of use. If you add a sound to the animation you will hear that it does play

Cheers John, I had a feeling that might be the case so I'd tried bring forward etc, to no avail. There's quite a lot of thought and effort goes into adding animations, at the right moments in a screen recording, for anyone reading this and thinking about using it.
