How do I format pictures?
My Powerpoint presentation is too big to send as an attachment in my email. To compact my picture I need a Format tab, but I can't find one. Can anyone give me a clue?
Thanks a mil, Uncle Dewey |

The format tab will only appear if you select an image.

How do I format pictures, plus no file tab
While trying to format pictures (select a picture), I also find I have no File Tab. no Picture Tab, nor no Format Tab. I wanted to condense the file, which is when I found out I needed a File Tab.
Thanks for any guidance, Uncle Dewey |

Office 2007 doesn't have a File tab - it has an Office Button in the top left corner.

Sounds like your instructions are for a later version than 2007
2007 does not have a File Tab When a Picture is selected you should see a Picture Tools Tab which has a Format Tab. If it's not there I'm stumped! Sorry the pic is small it's a shot from a very high res PC |

How to format a picture
Selecting a slide does not bring up a picture tab. Also I said I did not have a file tab. Moonshine gave a video which brings up a picture tab, but to get there it selects a the Office Button which magically brings up a a Picture tab, but I can not see what is selected when the Office Button is selected.

You do not need to select the Office Button Moonshine is (probably) just showing you where it is. it is similar to the File Tab in later versions but not identical.
Just select the Picture (not just the slide) and you should see the Picture Tools Tab |

John/Uncle Dewey
I have changed the animation in post No 5 for some clarity. Apologies for any confusion. |

Picture formating
I'm really sorry, but I still don't see what to select within the Office Button selection which brings up the Picture Tab.
Sorry, Uncle Dewey |

Just select a picture |

How to format a picture
Hi Again, I finally got it, and was able to compress the file so I can e-mail the file. Now I have to find an audio that can be embedded, before I forward.
Thanks a whole bunch, Uncle Dewey |
