Best way to manage ppt for different length of time?
Dear fellow members,
I have a huge >250 slides powerpoint (Master ppt) for full presentation. But then, I may not always have time to do full presentation, so I need different version powerpoint for 5mins, 30mins, 1hour, 3hours presentation (using only part of the Master ppt). Currently I have 5 different ppt files (5mins, 30mins, 1hour, 3hours, full presentation), which is difficult to manage. One small update, will have to be done in all 5 ppt files manually. a) What is the best way to manage ppt for different length of time? b) Is there an automatic Macro function to hide/unhide ppt slide by clicking a button (buttons: 5mins, 30mins, 1hour, 3hours, full presentation)? c) Can powerpoint automatically update all 5 ppt files once the Master ppt is updated? Many thanks. |

Have you tried making Custom Shows in your big presentation?
Slide Show tab > Custom Slide Show > Custom Shows > New. For each custom show you can select the slides you want to show. A slide can occur in several custom shows. Afterwards, to present a particular Custom Show you go to Slide Show tab > Custom Slide Show and select the one you want to present. or You can add a 'menu' slide to the beginning of your major deck, with hyperlinks to every Custom Show. Either way all future content changes need to be done only once instead of five times |
