Change "Presenter View" layout, to put speaker Notes pane on top?
I'd like to rearrange the panes in Presenter View layout (PowerPoint 16 or Office 365), so that the speaker Notes are in the top/right pane, with current slide below the Notes and all slides in a ribbon on the left.
I can sort of get there in Normal layout by sliding the divider up until the top pane (current slide) is pretty small, but I'd prefer the notes all the way at the top. I want to use the Notes as a sort of teleprompter, recording a slideshow with added facecam, using a webcam on top of the monitor that has the presenter view -- which will look better if I'm reading from a line that's very close to the top of the screen. Is this possible in current versions? Thanks for any tips on this. |

To the best of my knowledge you cannot arrange the panes only resize them.

Thanks, John. A shame, as I found various posts requesting this option going back to 2011. Ironically, I believe "Notes on top" was the normal layout of Presenter View in older versions of PowerPoint.
