Default can this be done in ppt with vbaor any other way?

hi, i am making a game in ppt 2007 for my students where they are listening to telephone numbers. what i want is to have some shapes or textboxes with the numbers from 1 to 0 so they click the phone number as if they were making a call but if they do not click in the order they are listening or make a mistake then move to another slide. in other words.. is there a way to determine the order in which the student is clicking the shape? i was thinking in the if statement but i am not sure how to do this and i cant think of any way to do this with animations because they are going to have ten boxes(with the numbers) in the same slide. any help or suggestion will be gladly appreciated
