Change zoom level on Web Browser Control
Hi,
I am using the web browser control on a slide that is 16:9 portrait orientated and the web page i need to display isn't responsive in that when not displayed in landscape view you get slide bars on teh bottom and side of the webpage. Is there a way to control the magnification or zoom level in the browser control. I know that if i set my screen to only 50% magnification the web page will display properly. I am using a macro to load the web browser control via a button on another slide to load the page so the zoom control will need to be built into that macro i expect. Code:
Sub go2URL_Offers() Application.SlideShowWindows(1).View.GotoSlide Index:=2 Dim varURL As Variant varURL = "http://www.hinckleybid.co.uk/loyalty-card" Slide2.WebBrowser1.Navigate varURL End Sub Thanks |

The code for this is not simple and has to be written as a Class Module. I would suggest you download the free LiveWeb (Google) Add In from Shyam. It allows you to set the zoom.

Thanks @JohnWilson. I have been using the plugin and it does actually work very well. The reason i am looking to use webbrowser control is the plugin doesn't seem to work when you show the presentation via a PowerPoint Viewer on an machine without the plugin installed.
What i am trying to achieve is for the presentation to be shown on a touchscreen kiosk hence why we are looking to just use a viewer to play it. If you have any other suggestions I'm all ears. Thanks.. |

No code or ActivX will work on the Viewer.

Some more bad news - If you have a copy of the Viewer Installer do not lose it. You will find it harder to download a copy now!

To be fair i did find that on the weekend and had to resort to using an old 2010 version i found on a download page :-(
I think the next stage for me is to see if Google Docs will do what i need, the two main components i need to work are live webpages and kiosk mode... Thanks |

Pretty sure you will need a full version of office. Can you get a trial of Office Home - It might work on 5 PCs. I haven't tried but they would probably need a credit card.
