Are you sure that the title is actually in a Title PLACEHOLDER in the original?
A quick (not certain) check is to look in the selection pane for the name of a selected title. If the name is 'Textbox x' it probably isn't a real title. OR go to View > Outline can you see the Title Text in the left pane?
