Hi,

I've created a presentation and have fairly extensive notes at the bottom. When I've gone to print it won't format properly into the notes layout. It zooms right in and turns my 23 slide presentation into a 300 page document, each one with only a few words.



I've checked the paper size etc and that's all correct and I've successfully printed in the notes layout before with different presentations.

I've tried on PowerPoint 2013 and 365 on a different computer. I'm using a slide pack from work which is new, no one else in my office has used it to make a presentation yet so I don't know if anyone's had the same issue. I think it might be something odd in the formatting of the slide pack but I don't know what.

Any ideas?

The only thing that come to mind is that in View > Notes Master the slide image has been enlarged or the text part made smaller (or both)

So I've had a look at the notes master and it doesn't look right but it's not an aspect of PowerPoint that I've ever looked into before..

I've attached a photo of how it looks, thoughts?

It definitely looks wrong! maybe the slide image and text have been dragged off the master
Try Select all slides in the left pane and COPY

Start a NEW presentation which should have the normal notes master

In normal view put the cursor after slide 1 in the left pane and paste in copied slides (keep source format)

Do notes work properly now?
