Please help, custom bullet points (Video)

I am having big trouble with custom bullet points - whenever I insert them, I cannot cope them - and they disappear everytime I want to add a new bullet point, meaning I have to upload them everytime I need to do a bullet point - I have tried searching for ways to change the default bullet point to my custom one, but I have yet to find an answer - as everytime I click the bullet point, it is the standard one that appears and my custom bullet point is not saved - and as I am trying to make a template for someone else, it would be a lot of work for them to upload the custom image everytime they want to create a bullet - and yes I have changed the bullets in the master slide, but it didn't do anything..-----please if someone has an answer, I would be eternally grateful!
