Create an "action safe" border around slide content?
If I have a 16:9 presentation and wish to enlarge JUST the background (like canvas in Photoshop) but not the content, is there a way to do this without tweaking all the content? Working on a PC
This is for the case that a TV "action-safe" border is needed so content doesn't get cut off. |

Not really.
You CAN change the background size in the XML (Presentation.xml, cx and cy values) but not in the normal interface. Even if you know how to do this and say add 10% to the values it enlarges to the right and bottom NOT centering the content so still need a lot of tweaking. |

Thanks! I tried a workaround by going into CUSTOM SIZE and enlarging slide size width and height by 1.5 inches, and choosing ENSURE FIT. That shrunk down all my content decently.
Problem is, when I grouped that reduced content and pasted it back into my original PPT, it pasted all the content larger again! Frustrating. |
