Copy & Paste Shapes with Motion Paths to different sized slides
Hello, I'm having the same issue outlined in this post from 2012: https://www.msofficeforums.com/power...s-1-slide.html The post and answer are six year old, and I'm wondering if there have been any changes in PowerPoint that would help solve the issue: When copying and pasting objects with motion paths between two different sized slides, apparently the motion-path "start" and "end" locations are based upon the slide's size. Making it so when copying objects (with motion paths) between slides that are different sizes, all the motion paths will be slightly off. Is there a way to copy the slides so they retain their "absolute" motion-path travel, despite being copied to slides of different sizes? |

Have you tried inserting your original ppt slide as an object onto the new-size ppt slide and add an animation 'OLE Action Verbs >> Show' to the object?

'OLE Action Verbs >> Show'
You lost me there. Could you provide more instructions? I would be happy to try your solution. |

- save your original ppt slide
- open blank ppt - go to Insert tab > Object > Create from file > Browse > select your original ppt slide - if necessary: resize the Object so that is full-screen size - select the newly inserted Object > go to Animations tab > Add Animation > select OLE Action Verbs (see 01.png attached) > select Show - if you want it to run automatically: change 'Start: On Click' to 'Start: After Previous' (see 02.png attached) |

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I just gave it a shot and it seems to work splendidly. I'm still playing around with it, but definitely wanted to leave a thank you. I'm grateful for your suggestion and time you took to write it out!
