Lost a "save-as" .pptx file
I opened a previous .pptx file and saved it under a new name for a NEW project. I wanted to keep some of the basic formatting of the old file. After several days of work the program started acting strangely. Some images would not show. So I tried to save it but an error message came up. I tried using "save-as" with another name, and it still wouldn't save. So I closed the program and restarted the Win 10 PC.
When I opened the "recovered" file it was the ORIGINAL file I started with! The only change was the new name. I did a pc search, hoping to find it somewhere but no results. I can't believe I have lost 50 hours of work. Am I overlooking something? |
