Adding a Arc effect in Microsoft Powerpoint?
Hi everyone, i am trying to create an arc effect in powerpoint which i can change the colour off the only way to descripe it to show you, a link for the best way to show is http://www.childrensministryonline.c...-design-4A.jpg The red arc/rectangle at the top of the first page is the exact look i am looking for but do not know how to make this work in powerpoint obviously i want to be able to give it a different colour to the rest so i have added an arc which is giving the desired shape but i cannot just change the colour between it is changing the whole slide, any ideas??? |

This is easy in later versions, but you can get the effect in 2003.

Thank you so much Kimberley that has worked perfectly. The only problem i now have is i wanted that section to have a two tone colour effect but when i set this it shows the outline of the two shapes instead of blending in....any ideas?

You can add more shapes/lines and group them with the others.
Or you can ungroup the shapes then give the arc portion a shadow. You can even go to the Customize dialog box (commands tab, Drawing category) and find the Shadow Color button and drag it to your Drawing toolbar. Once you have it like you want, Regroup. You will likely need to ungroup anytime you want to change the shadow. |
