Pre-set visible horizontal axis

Hi guys,



I have a simple bar chart in powerpoint linked to four excel columns, with each excel column indicating service delivery per quarter on the horizontal axis. At the moment, we only have 1 quarters worth of data.

I would like to preset powerpoint so that only the first quarter is showing when the powerpoint is opened, with the ability to add additional quarters (2-4) using the filter button on the right (in powerpoint) after clicking on the display.

Every time I filter it, and save and close, when I re-open the powerpoint, all four quarters are again displayed. Thanks!
