I have a presentation with two text fields and am trying to make the text sentence animation come in as one piece but exit by letter. However, when I change the text to exit by letter with a 10% delay between characters, the incoming text also changes to by letter. I want the incoming text or entry animation to come in as a whole sentence and the outgoing by individual characters. I didn't see any unlock check box anywhere to make incoming and outgoing animations exclusive of each other.
Please let me know if this is doable or this is simply a limitation of Power Point. Thank you, Chris |

Thank you!
I've reached the limits of Power Point for the VFX videos I'm creating and am actively learning Adobe After Effects; I'm just looking for a stopgap solution for now as I learned on Power Point and am most familiar with it. It is a general purpose office presentation tool and not intended for special effects that can be done in programs like the Adobe CC Suite. Eventually I'll learn where all the tools and commands are in After Effects and be able to do my work from there. Chris |

I'm guessing duplicate text which works but it's a pain.
