Default Creating Template slide

Hello all,

I have spent 3 days searching and the only answer that comes up isn't what I want to do.

I want to create a background slide, to work exactly like every other template slide that MS provides. With a company logo and some stripes.

Everything comes back with details about creating A master Slide. I don't want a master slide. I want a background slide.

The Master Slides don't fix an image in the slide. Merely a placeholder with the image that can be moved.

I don't want the image moved. I would like to be able to pass this slide to the next person so they can create their presentation with this background slide.

SO, how do I create a background slide, save as a template that is uneditable? Just appears as a background on which they may produce their presentation?

Thank you

G

Not really sure what you mean!

If you go to View > Slide Master and with the large master at the top of the jist set the background to your image (or just add your image) then go back to normal view it should not be possible to move the image.

Well I guess thats sort of what I wanted, bu i still have all those extra slides/templates.

I really don't want a master slide which is the only item that ever came up in a search.

I merely want a blank slide with my desired background which the company logo in the corner.

People can add whatever text in whatever format they want.

SO I guess I'm halfway there.

How do I create a slide with my compnay logo on it without all the rest of the master slide preset text boxes etc.

I merely want a blank slide, blank as in NO text boxes, no image place holders a blank slide.

You have at least one Master
You can delete all of the layouts except BLANK though
First delete all slides then delete most of the layouts (the smaller 'masters')

I have attached a simple example
Attached Files
File Type: pptx blankONLY.pptx (45.5 KB, 10 views)

Thats what I want to do.

I have tried deleting all the blocks and I can do that but all the other slides remain.

How do I delete the remaining superfluous slides?

Not sure what you mean.

Blocks are what?

Go to slide view and select all slides __ DELETE.
You will then be able to to master view and delete all but the blank layout. Delete anything from the master at the top that you don't need.
