Default Embedded Video Not Playing in Recorded Presentation

I've got a presentation with advanced animations and an mp4 video that are all set to auto-play with timings. When I go to record the presentation, all my animations play perfectly but when I get to the slide with the video things go wrong. The video appears first on the page (out of order) and stays flat, doesn't play.

I'm using a Mac and stupid MS Office support wants to charge for customer service support on this issue which seems bogus to me since I ALREADY pay monthly for the application. Has anyone had this issue and know how to fix it?

Thanks
