Default Embed Chart Template into PPT file

I have a PPT file/template which I am setting up for a client, and I need to standardize the charts so that when someone creates a new chart it follows the same format as the rest of the design. There will be several different chart templates used for this presentation.

I can save a Chart Template file, but that is saved into the application's templates, and doesn't travel with the presentation.

Is there a way to embed the templates into the XML of the presentation file so that the end user will have the proper templates when editing this presentation, without having to install the chart templates on each user's machine? I have added Custom UI elements to presentations in the past via editing the presentation XML, but I can't find anything indicating whether a chart template can be added via a similar method.
