Problem with saving sound synchronized w/sound

I have created a number of PP presentations where I have added music to the presentations, timing the transitions so that the last slide ends with the final notes of the music. I have then saved and closed the file. The next time I open and play the file the ending in not synchronized at the end. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a fix?
