Default Making a bar chart with several data entries

I have made a bar chart and on the left side is the amount, the bottom of the chart shows the year, but I want also to show the year for example, year and January for K-Mart, year and January for Wal_Mart, this is just an example but thats about what Im wanting, I have only been getting amount, on left, for 2008, January. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi there,

If I am understanding your question correctly, you wish to add more labels to your current chart. To accomplish this, follow these simple steps:

1. Click the chart area (to add a data label to all data points of all data series) to display the Chart Tools.
2. On the Layout tab, in the Labels group, click Data Labels, and then click the display option that you want.

For a diagram and more complete instructions, check out the Office help page: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ex...#AddDataLabels.

If this is not the answer you were looking for, you can rephrase your question and I can do my best to provide a more accurate answer.

Happy to help!
