Powerpoint 2016 Greyscale

Powerpoint 2016 and Windows 10

PP opens as normal. Now when I launch a previously created presentation, it defaults to Greyscale. I change it to color, and re save it. Next launch, it's back to greyscale. Any thoughts as to why this is happening?
