Slides skipping & audio issue in Powerpoint 2013
Hi. I am working with Powerpoint 2013 on Windows 10. I created a fabulous 50-minute slide show presentation with narration and I think it worked fine. After I made it into a video, however, and compressed it for upload, it began to skip a couple of the slides before continuing normally. The slides are seen briefly as they are flipped through in the advance of the presentation but they do not pause for viewing and the audio skips over them. I thought I could go back and just try again with the original to make a new video but now the original is also messed up the same way. I am an average-level tech user -- not advanced -- and this is the first time I have tried to use Powerpoint. If there is a way to fix this, I would be greatly appreciative. I made the slide show without a script. If I have to redo the narration, it will never come out as good as second time. Thanks! P.S. In case it's relevant, I originally created it with the setting of "mouse click" to control when the slides advanced as I narrated through each slide. To try to fix it, I went back and put 3:00 minutes on the "advance slide" setting on the slides that were skipped but that didn't help. They still skipped.... :-( |
