I'm using Office for Mac 2011 and creating a PowerPoint for a client with HD (1080) video. We're both using MacBooks that are about 5+ years old. I created the stack form a blank default template. The HD video plays but I'm thinking it is not as smooth as it might be. I don't know if this is ℅ a possible underpowered cpu (the same videos play smoothly outside PPT) or is the video being rescaled "live" (dynamically) in a way that is compromising the playback? If this is the case will upgrading to the latest version of Office for Mac fix the pb issue?
