Hello everyone, I'm having an issue and I hope someone can help. It would be greatly appreciated for the project I'm working on.
I am trying to create a master layout slide that looks like this. ![]() However, if I create a new Master layout slide that looks like above slide from the Master slides and select it in normal layout, it looks like this. (I copied this from a different pp file and pasted it into the master layout slide as well as created it from scratch.) ![]() I've tried change the Master layout page to match the 1st one but it isn't working. Any suggestions or questions? |

Hard to tell from an image but that top layout looks wrong. The non title "Placeholder" doesn't look like a placeholder at all. It should have a dotted outline and central icons.
I would try to post a one slide presentation on OneDrive, Dropbox whatever. |

Hi John, thanks for the reply.
Here is a better image. This is my Master Layout Page. When I try to add it in the Normal layout it looks like the second image. ![]() |

That certainly looks more like a layout but you need to post a real presentation. What you describe works just fine for me (2016 but I don't think 2013 is different)

I can't work out what you did but I remade the layout from scratch and it seems to work.
